Meanwhile, West Point strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 67-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for West Point.
Lawrence County's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14. As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
Lawrence County was able to grind out a solid win over the Warriors in their previous meeting back in January, winning 59-50. Does Lawrence County have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
