After a string of four wins, Noble-Whitley Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to West Michigan HomeSchool on the road by a decisive 77-61 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Noble-Whitley Warriors still got an impressive performance from Colt Kirkpatrick, who scored 23 points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Caidyn Berna, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Noble-Whitley Warriors struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Noble-Whitley Warriors' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-12. As for West Michigan HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
