First Coast Christian took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Parsons Christian Academy Lions out 16-14. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
First Coast Christian got a massive performance out of Jaisha Upperman, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Jia Upperman was another key player, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Coast Christian will face off against Cedar Creek Christian at 4:00 p.m. on February 27th. As for Parsons Christian Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Johns Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
