Kentucky School for the Deaf scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 60-44 to the Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colonels of the 27-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Kentucky School for the Deaf's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Louisiana School for the Deaf, they moved to 1-24 with that win, which also ended their 28-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
