The St. Paul's Big Red had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 41-8 victory over Kingswood Oxford. St. Paul's' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
St. Paul's' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Kingswood Oxford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
St. Paul's will be playing at home against Proctor Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Proctor Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Kingswood Oxford, they will head out on the road to face off against Albany Academy for Boys at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Albany Academy for Boys will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 334th in New York, while Kingswood Oxford is ranked 81st in Connecticut).
