Basketball Recap: Centerpoint Christian Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

CenterPoint Christian Academy won the last time they faced Michigan School for the Deaf and things went their way on Tuesday too. The CenterPoint Christian Academy Lions were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the Michigan School for the Deaf Tartars.

CenterPoint Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremy Boillat led the charge by dropping a triple-double on ten points, 20 rebounds, and 14 assists. Boillat is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 14 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nolan Dieterle, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds.

Boillat wasn't the only one working in the assists department: CenterPoint Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

CenterPoint Christian Academy's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Michigan School for the Deaf, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

CenterPoint Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 53-49 win against Varsity Opponent on the 30th. As for Michigan School for the Deaf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis Aerospace Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Davis Aerospace Tech will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Michigan School for the Deaf surely won't give up without a fight.
