In what's become a running theme this season, the Rootstown Rovers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 67-24 win over Windham at home. The win was nothing new for Rootstown as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rootstown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklynn McIntyre, who scored six points along with 16 rebounds and three blocks. McIntyre is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Lough, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Rootstown's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.5 points. As for Windham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rootstown will take on John F. Kennedy Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rootstown has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 365 points over their last six games. As for Windham, they will be playing at home against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
