In what's become a running theme this season, the Hillman Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 82-18 win over Atlanta on the road. The victory was nothing new for Hillman as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Trenton Taratuta was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-7 from long range and dropping a double-double on 43 points and 14 rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Rouleau, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Hillman is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Atlanta, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillman will face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hillman's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games. As for Atlanta, they will head out on the road to square off against Au Gres-Sims at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Au Gres-Sims is on a five-game streak of home losses, Atlanta a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
