After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lancaster Mennonite, Lancaster Country Day were happy to have found some success on Monday. They took down New Covenant Christian 67-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lancaster Country Day also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
New Covenant Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keenan Stoner, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tycen VanDerPloog, who scored ten points.
Lancaster Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for New Covenant Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Lancaster Country Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-63 win vs. Conestoga Christian on the 7th. New Covenant Christian has also already played their next contest, a 68-65 win against Lebanon Catholic on the 6th.
