This is the second loss in a row for Miramonte and  nudges their season record down to 1-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-0 Las Lomas (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 87.5% over those games). As for Benicia, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Miramonte will  square off against  rival College Park  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Benicia is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Las Lomas  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Panthers 7.3, the Knights 6.7) so any  points scored will be well earned.
