AAA District 9 recap September 4, 2013
Lebanon moved up to 179 from 209 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAA District 9. The Blue Devils climbed the ranks as a result of besting Franklin County 31-17.
Gallatin was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to third in the league. The Green Wave vanquished Springfield 49-13 earlier in the week.
Beech's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Parker Henry threw for 102 yards and Dylan Jett had 37 yards receiving. On the ground Auston Vanzant contributed 69 yards. Kourtney Hawkins helped Beech's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 27 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hendersonville takes on Lebanon. At the moment, the Commandos are in second, while the Blue Devils are in fifth.
The Green Wave took down the Yellowjackets 49-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
