Disney II had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-9 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Senn Bulldogs as they made off with a 16-8 win. Considering the Titans have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
David Herrera was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Disney II is 3-1 when Herrera allows three or fewer hits, but 4-8 otherwise. Herrera was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Cesar Urquieta was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Jayden Diaz also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Disney II always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Senn only posted an OBP of .405.
