The Nipmuc Regional Warriors were the 24-20 winner over the Blackstone-Millville Chargers when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. Nipmuc Regional took a hard 49-32 fall against Blackstone-Millville on Friday. Nipmuc Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Blackstone-Millville to victory were Marren Berry and Natalia Morais. Berry scored 15 points, while Morais scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Buzzell, who scored six points.
Nipmuc Regional has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Blackstone-Millville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Nipmuc Regional will head out on the road to face off against Whitinsville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Burncoat at 5:00 p.m. Burncoat is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
