They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  win over the Lakewood Tigers.  Isaac Low made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Chatfield's success: when he posts  at  least one  home run the team is undefeated (and 5-8 when he doesn't).

 In other batting news,  Brody Batz was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and one  stolen base. He has become a key player for Chatfield: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  one  home run, but 6-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brady Harman, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Chatfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Chatfield now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Lakewood,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chatfield beat the Tigers by a score of  12-5 on Saturday.
