Frankton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Sheridan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will square off against the Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Saturday, Frankton got the win against Cowan by a conclusive 16-6. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Brady Carmack was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Frankton got a massive performance out of Brayden Peters, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Peters has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 9-10 otherwise. Jarrett Morris was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.
Frankton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Sheridan earned a 10-6 win over Indy Genesis HomeSchool on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blackhawks.
Dayne Voege was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hall, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Frankton's record is now 13-10. As for Sheridan, their record now sits at 10-13.
Everything went Frankton's way against Sheridan in their previous matchup back in April, as Frankton made off with an 18-5 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
