Blair Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Wednesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Hill School. The Blair Academy Bucs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hill School Rams 74-39. The Bucs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Hill School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Soller, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Kara Syernick, who scored nine points.

The win (which was Blair Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.2 points. As for Hill School, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair Academy will challenge Hun at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Blair Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Hill School, they will face off against Peddie at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
