Football Recap: Sharon Starts Season with Win at Home

Sharon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They blew past the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers 35-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Sharon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Engelmore out in front who threw for 132 yards and three TDs. Another pass catcher making a difference was Mez Norris, who picked up 56 receiving yards and one score.

Sharon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-41 defeat against Cathedral Prep on the 29th. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 36-14 loss against Oil City on the 29th.
