 It was another big night for  Will Griffin 2026 Qb, who threw for 206 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes.  Trent Teeling did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 80 receiving yards.
 Cardinal Newman's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Jesuit,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Friday's   matchup might be decided in the trenches. Cardinal Newman has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 227.4  rushing yards per game.
