The Wisdom Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They lost to Milby on the road by a decisive 47-28 margin. Wisdom lost against Milby in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 22-19 score last time.
Milby's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ke'lia Smith, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Smith has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nayeli Medina, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Wisdom's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Milby, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wisdom will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sterling at 6:00 a.m. on December 20th. As for Milby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chavez at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
