Jayden Alvarado was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Lone Star is 8-3 when Alvarado allows one or fewer earned runs, but 10-13-1 otherwise. Alvarado was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
