College Station came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Shadow Creek Sharks.

College Station got a big performance out of Ambar Aguilar, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Aguilar's launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaenyn Yates, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Aguilar wasn't the only one working in the home run department: College Station lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

College Station's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs over those games. As for Shadow Creek, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

College Station didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 victory against Clear Springs on the 17th. Shadow Creek has also already played their next contest (against Alvin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
