They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Grayson Christian 45-43. That's another feather in the cap for Mercy Prep Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Grayson Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaac Stout, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stout has scored all season. Zane Rostyne was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Mercy Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Grayson Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Mercy Prep Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Storm at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
