Firth won the last time they faced West Side and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Firth Cougars were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over the West Side Pirates. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Firth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shelbie Perry, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Georgiana Jolley, who earned 12 points.

Firth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for West Side, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Firth will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Fremont at 7:30 p.m. As for West Side, they will head out to face off against Malad at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Malad will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something West Side surely won't give up without a fight.
