Central dropped down to 9-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Walton Braves 75-48. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Braves are ranked 47th).

As for Walton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 61.3 points this season.

Walton had a senior duo take command as Robert Morse shot 56% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to seven assists and five boards and Kaden Fuentes went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points and six rebounds. Fuentes also set a new season-high mark in field goal percentage with 73%. Another player making a difference was Camden Zodrow, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-67 defeat against Freeport on the 20th. As for Walton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-34 win against New Brockton on the 20th.
