The Tapestry Charter Titans waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 57-45 win over Cottage. For Tapestry Charter, this counts as revenge for the 39-27 defeat the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tapestry Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kingston Willingham, who scored 11 points. Willie Poole III was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Cottage lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Barnes, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Lagan, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Tapestry Charter pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Cottage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Tapestry Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Howard will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Cottage, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
