Ritenour came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the University City Lions on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Ritenour won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-23.

D'Asiah Whitt paced Ritenour's offense, picking up 11 kills. Whitt got some help from Alison Killion and her 25 assists. Killion was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Ritenour's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for University City, they now have a losing record of 6-7-2.
