Several Centurions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kourtney Wofford, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Wofford is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 17 games she's played. Diamond Martin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Broome smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodruff only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.
It was another big night for Jensyn Turner, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 23 points and six steals for Woodruff. That's the most points Turner has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Robinson, who posted seven points and five steals.
Broome's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Woodruff, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
Broome wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-30 win against Union County on the 31st. Woodruff has also already played their next game, a 61-25 victory against Greer Middle College on the 31st.
