The Burwell Longhorns lost against the North Central Knights back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Burwell fell 53-44 to North Central. That's two games in a row now that Burwell has lost by exactly nine points.
North Central can attribute much of their success to Jackson Hallock, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds. Kol Otten was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Burwell and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for North Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Burwell will be playing in front of their home fans against Ravenna on Friday. Ravenna and Burwell are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for North Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Chambers/Wheeler Central on Thursday.
