On Friday Diamond Bar take on Ontario at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
Diamond Bar were able to grind out a solid win over Chino last Friday, winning 34-25. No one put up better numbers for Diamond Bar than senior Jeremiah Chukwudobe, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns. Chukwudobe has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 3 games.
Meanwhile, Ontario found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-42 punch to the gut against Don Lugo. Ontario were down by 6-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Diamond Bar's victory lifted them to 2-4 while Ontario's loss dropped them down to 3-3. With five turnovers, Ontario had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if Diamond Bar exploit that vulnerability.
