After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mojave, Bonanza was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Amplus Academy Archers as the Bonanza Bengals made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bengals haven't had any issues with the Archers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
While Bonanza won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 27-25.
Michael Wienand paced Bonanza's offense, picking up ten kills. Wienand got some help from Matthew Oh and his 11 assists. Massimo Pesci and Alejandro Zamaro kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
