The Harvey Hornets were the 44-40 winner over the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The game between Harvey and Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood wasn't particularly close, with Harvey falling 49-30. Harvey has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Harvey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addisyn Faul, who scored seven points along with four steals. Faul hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Rachel Neumiller, who scored ten points.
Harvey has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
Harvey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-40 loss vs. Bishop Ryan on the 10th.
