Baseball Recap: Temescal Canyon Beats Chaffey for Their Third Straight Win

Temescal Canyon won against Indio last Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Temescal Canyon Titans' way against the Chaffey Tigers as the Temescal Canyon Titans made off with a 10-0 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Jake Padden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Padden was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that he scored this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on David McLean, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jonathan Reece also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

As for Chaffey, they will be taking part in a tournament against San Jacinto Valley Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Chaffey is facing San Jacinto Valley Academy at the right time seeing as San Jacinto Valley Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
