Largo is 9-1 against the Falcons since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Largo Lions will be staying on the road to face off against the Central Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Largo has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three contests.
Largo put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Concordia Prep with a sharp 62-41 win. Given Largo's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Saints are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Central lost to the Warriors on the road by a decisive 38-19 margin on Sunday. Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Largo's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
