The Desert Pines Jaguars will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Arbor View Aggies at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Desert Pines' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Desert Pines has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 37 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 55-18 victory over Palo Verde.
Trista Mabry continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 blocks. Siara Bracey was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Arbor View's 16-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Lutheran. Arbor View has struggled against Faith Lutheran recently, as their contest on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Their wins bumped Desert Pines to 4-0 and Palo Verde to 4-2.
Everything came up roses for Desert Pines against Arbor View when the teams last played back in February as the team secured a 70-37 victory. Will Desert Pines repeat their success, or does Arbor View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
