While Brick Township put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Middletown South. The Green Dragons put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Green Dragons, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Brick Township is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Middletown South, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Brick Township will venture away from home to face off against Freehold Boro at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Middletown South, they will host Freehold Township at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
