The team also got some help courtesy of  Leila Parkhill, who  posted nine points in addition to three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Beardstown came up short against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia on Thursday and fell  44-37. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Beardstown  fell to 2-1. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Liberty won a  game that couldn't have been any closer  in their previous meeting  back in January, slipping by Beardstown 55-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
