A Season-Best Effort from Brody Zemba Leads Bishop Rosecrans over Bridgeport
Brody Zemba produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bishop Rosecrans to the win on Friday. Zemba rushed for 246 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Bishop Rosecrans, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Zemba and Bishop Rosecrans will be playing at home against Miller at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Logan Doughty produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Miller to the win on Friday. Doughty rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 52 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Doughty might just drop another big game when he faces off against Bishop Rosecrans on Friday. Doughty rushed for 225 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry the last time he and the Bishops duked it out back in October of 2023.
