The Arapahoe Warriors lost against the Cherry Creek Bruins back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Arapahoe fell 56-44 to Cherry Creek. Arapahoe has struggled against Cherry Creek recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Arapahoe still got an impressive performance from Cass Henry, who scored nine points.
Cherry Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Hammond, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Condon, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Arapahoe bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Cherry Creek, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.
Arapahoe will challenge Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Grandview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Cherry Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mullen at 7:00 p.m. Mullen has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 252 points over their last four contests.
