The Knightdale Knights''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They fell to Wakefield 39-34. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Knightdale's defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-0 Pinecrest and 9-1 Rolesville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69.4% over those games). As for Wakefield, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Knightdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wakefield also has no future games currently scheduled.
