Springfield is 0-10 against the Hawks since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Springfield Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rossview Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Springfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
Last Friday, Springfield humbled the Cobras with a 64-36 victory. The victory was just what Springfield needed coming off of a 66-35 defeat in their prior contest.
Shemauria Pope and Rayne Erickson were among the main playmakers for Springfield as the former scored 16 points along with four steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavionna Farmer, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Rossview came up short against the Wildcats on Friday and fell 49-37. Rossview has not had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Springfield now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Rossview, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
