The Albany Warriors were the 45-37 winner over the North Harrison Shamrocks when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Albany took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrocks. Albany's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Leading North Harrison to victory were Jerry Gilpatrick and Keygun Johnson. Gilpatrick scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Johnson scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Gilpatrick has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played.
Albany has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for North Harrison, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Albany will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Princeton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in Missouri (the Tigers are ranked 187th, while the Warriors are ranked 461st). As for North Harrison, they will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
