The Wichita County Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Francis 86-25 at home. That 86-25 margin sets a new team best for Wichita County this season.
Wichita County had a senior duo take command as Colton Harbin dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 assists and Christopher Michel scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harbin has scored at least 25% of Wichita County's points. Another player making a difference was Leonardo Alvarado, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got Wichita County back to even at 3-3. As for St. Francis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Golden Plains the next time they take the court. St. Francis will head out to face Golden Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wichita County will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
