Despite the loss, Konos Academy got a solid performance out of Joshua Knapp, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Howie Turner was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.9 points per game. As for Konos Academy, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Tuesday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Trinity Christian School of Griffin have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 25.9 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Konos Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 28.5 rebounds per game. Given Trinity Christian School of Griffin's sizeable advantage in that area, Konos Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
