The Tapestry Charter Titans won the last time they faced Mill Springs Academy, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Tapestry Charter came out on top against Mill Springs Academy by a score of 59-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tapestry Charter.
Despite the loss, Mill Springs Academy saw an underclassman step up: Hampton Hill scored 24 points. That was a full 50% of Mill Springs Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Frommer, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Tapestry Charter's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Mill Springs Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
Tapestry Charter will take on Atlanta Area School for the Deaf at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mill Springs Academy, they will head out on the road to take on LaGrange Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
