Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Curtis, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellery Burke-Brown, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for West Salem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tualatin Valley Academy at 8:00 p.m. on December 29th. As for West Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Linn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Linn presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Salem in Oregon (West Linn is ranked seventh, while West Salem is ranked 72nd).
