The team also got some help courtesy of Ellery Burke-Brown, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for West Salem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tualatin Valley Academy at 8:00 p.m. on December 29th. As for West Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Linn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Linn presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Salem in Oregon (West Linn is ranked seventh, while West Salem is ranked 72nd).
