Aleigha Taylor Game Report: vs Meigs County

Ooltewah's leading scorer did her thing again on Monday. Aleigha Taylor wasn't messing around, going 10 of 23 en route to 24 points and six rebounds. The game was her third straight with 24 or more points. While that hot streak is impressive, perhaps more impressive is what she's done for her team: she's posted a third or more of Ooltewah's points for three straight games.

Taylor and Ooltewah will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hixson at 3:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. The Owls got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wildcats, probably because Taylor had a solid game then too: she went 17 of 21 on her way to 40 points and five steals.
