The Lightridge Bolts pushed their score all the way to 57 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Woodgrove by a score of 60-57. Lightridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Woodgrove can attribute much of their success to Joey Marceschi, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Colin Fuller, who scored 11 points.
Lightridge bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Woodgrove, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Lightridge will be home for the holidays to greet John Champe at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodgrove, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
