Alpha Omega Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Maddie Wallace and Kathryn Peach. Wallace scored 14 points along with six rebounds, while Peach dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Peach hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Westbury Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Alpha Omega Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Westbury Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alpha Omega Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Northland Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
