Covenant has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Covenant put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as Covenant made off with a 60-37 win. The victory was just what Covenant needed coming off of a 89-54 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Grace Christian beat the Saints 55-49 on Friday. The win was just what Grace Christian needed coming off of a 66-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Grace Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.
Covenant lost to the on the road by a decisive 70-55 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Covenant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
