Chace Roberts threw for 122 yards and a touchdown. Jack Coffey was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards. On the ground, John Kelly rushed for 26 yards.
Pilgrim now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cranston East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Pilgrim will be playing in front of their home fans against Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Classical is ranked 25th, while Pilgrim is ranked 23rd). As for Cranston East, they will head out on the road to face off against East Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Greenwich is on a three-game streak of home losses, Cranston East an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
